Metro recently released their revised SafeTrack plan outlining the long-term repair project to improve safety and reliability on the Metro system. This plan, which will begin on June 4, 2016, will include temporary shut downs of sections of the Metrorail system, single tracking between certain stations, changes in metro hours and more.
We understand that Metro’s maintenance efforts may affect many of you directly, and we are here to help. We will provide information and updates on Metro’s SafeTrack work throughout the project. In addition, we urge you to visit www.wmata.com and sign up for MetroAlerts for up to date information about the SafeTrack project and how it may affect your travel.
